Mini-satellites lists

Mini-Satellites fall into the 100-500kg catagory [small satellite classification], and many well known early satellites appear in this list. Consequently only a very small proportion of mini-satellites are listed. Specifically those of particular scientific or historic interest, or those with relevance to the recent small satellite area. Most of the minisatallite launched in the 90's are listed. This list is restricted to those satellites that made it onto the launcher, and is ordered in terms of launch date. For future mini-satellite missions, refer to the future missions page.

The graph below illustrates the increasing trends in the application of minisatellites, possibly at the expense of larger spacecraft (see SSHP introduction).
