QQW 1 and 2, 1990-081B/C
Two atmospheric balloons weighing 4kg each. QQW1 was launched into a 775x804km at 99 degrees and decayed on the 1st March 1991. QQW2 was launched into a 833x886km at 99 degrees and decayed on the 24th July 1991.
 
ODERACS
On occasion, a series of spherical objects are released from the shuttle, typically in pairs.  These Orbital DEbris RAdar Calibration Spheres are a few centimetres in diameter, and are intended to provide calibration for radar echoes.
