Small Satellite Remote Sensing Missions

Small satellites have demonstrated that optical remote sensing can be performed on small satellites. 

Note that the term Ground Sampling Distance (GSD) is used within this table, rather than resolution. The GSD is typically quoted as the distance between adjacent pixels, whereas according to sampling theory at least two adjacent samples are required to distinguish detail the size of a single pixel (Nyquist sampling).
