Launching on DELTA

DELTA II

The McDonnell Douglass DELTA II is based on early THOR DELTA launchers used in the early spaceflight years. It regularly launches small payloads weighing less than 200kg, although no standard interfaces exist.

DELTA has an impressive record, with only 15 failures in 293 launches by the end of 2002.
